Does a life is just eating expensive tasty foods and wearing high price clothes?

By: Buddhi Chaudhary

In this days and ages, among the thousands of eminent questions, what is the most considerable question? Whenever, we look towards both the intellectual and spiritual histories of the world, since ancient Greek philosophers to ancient Indian ascetics had asked only one question that, what really life is. Does the life is just eating tasty foods in the expensive restaurants and wearing the clothes with high prices or having quality education and good jobs?

Whenever, ask to a small kid the definitions of life, probably, his answer would be that life is eating tasty foods or expensive ice cream in the air conditioned restaurants. Answer for the same question, adults will give that life is getting married with suitable partners and having babies three or four. Teenagers will say that life is having fun with friends going around the country and all over the world. Thus, there are thousands of answers for this question and philosophers, ascetics and scholars from the ancient times trying to find but still wandering without having the exact answers.

Certainly, what really life is? What really the definition of life is? We, human beings, get birth, live for a while and then die again. After the death, everything finished. After then on, we start to think or find the definitions of life. We must have full stop for our cogitation or thinking. Sometimes, while thinking or finding the definitions of life, we forget the process of thinking and cogitations. We cannot find the full stop for it. So, we must look for the spiritual and intellectual blesses, because, religions have provided the spaces, paths and foundations for it. Buddhism has provided the full stops of life as Nibbana or enlightenment. Theistic religions stop at the presence of the omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent Gods. Thus as, all those religions had made the space for the full stops. Gods in theistic religions are sitting at the edge of everything. In Buddhism, Nibbana or enlightenment is the end of thoughts or acme of cogitations.

Alas! It’s just crazy………………human beings get birth and die again. What is this all happening? Who is a man? What are the special qualities he has? Naturally, animal beings get birth and die also with natural death as it comes with. But, man thinks what happens to him after the death. Do I go to the God, heaven or enlightenment? Why do men get birth? Do the same person is he, when he gets new life in the next birth? Why getting birth is suffering? Getting birth is suffering. We must stop getting birth. Through the meditations, we must realize the enlightenment. Within the nature, man cannot die naturally. Do they will go to hell? Do they will go heaven? Through the thinking and cogitations, he had created thousands of questions while finding the definitions of life. There are no stations for the physical wants.

A man is not ready to accept the acme, edge or terminations. There is nothing after death. Everything finishes after death. Does a man will accept these concepts? No…………He will never accept it. The seeker or finder of the beginning and end of the world, a scientist has given him a hope. Hope that life ends after death. Gods and the enlightenment (Nibbana). He made the definitions of life. Accept it. Accept it……………….!......it is the end……!

Again! What really life is? It is in-terminated like the limitless universe……..endless it is………….the more we think about the beginning and ending of the universe the more crazy, we become……………because, there are no stations to be stopped for a while……….so where the boundaries are? Where the ends are? While living, we need stations to be stopped for a while. Having understood the exact definitions of love, we must fall in love. Understand! Can we find stations to be stopped, when accept love? Probably not…………..accept compassions or commiserations, loving kindness, affections and qualities of equality……….there are stations to be stopped……………………….there are stops…………………accept educations…………we stop………………….arts and politics, we have stations to stop…………..but all those stations are like doss-house…….temporary……………for a few days……………..it is impermanent…………………not permanent. After few days, its fall down on the ground making no signs, thus the life is.

Non-stop, I think. I see the problems in love, affections, arts and politics………………………! I also love to stop. But, I can’t. The thoughts tumble like a monkey from one branch to another branch…………..! I see the nonsense world………! I feel blasting or lonely………………….! I feel very strange pain in my mind and heart…………….! So………………………………….! What really life is?
